last night before our weekly eye for a guy party the conversation turned to pleasures of the body. eva and adam brought a nice pumpkin cheesecake so we weighed in with our feelings on cake (of cheese), pies (of pumpkin and apple), and such variations and hybrids.
thankfully john-anthony, who earlier offered his admiration of pacific northwest slugs which pay regular tribute to the protagonist of every country ballad by drowning themselves in beer, urged us “god do you all sound old! talking about pies and cakes…could we please get on with the booze and reality tv?”
absolutely! in episodes 3 and 4, we saw howard beat the 1/2 way mark. ride, howard, ride!

There was a big story about six months ago that Kryptonite U-Lock
bicycle locks could be picked with a Bic pen. I tried mine and got
through it in about 2-4 minutes, and I figure with practice I could
compete with the videos floating around the net showing people picking
the locks in seconds. It looks like there is good news for people
with these bike locks - Kryptonite has finished a class action
settlement and are replacing the locks. Read
href="http://www.kryptonitesettlement.com/">about the settlement
or go to kryptonite.com and start
filling out the forms to get your lock replaced! (The settlement
only applies to people who bought their locks between 1998 and roughly
the time when the story broke about being able to pick the locks).

I just upgraded
to flickr pro - a pro account can
now be yours for the low-low price of only $25 bucks a year! 2GB
upload per month, unlimited storage, and unlimited bandwidth. Now I
can move all the pictures there from
href="http://psoul.com/gallery">my gallery and free up a ton of
space on my web host to mirror the Eye for a Guy, Season 2 episodes

Nick pointed out this absurdity I
hadn’t noticed: there is no way to maximize a window on a mac (and
href="http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75459">certainly
no keyboard shortcut for it). shift+command+delete appears to map
to “hose a bunch of files you aren’t currently looking at” but you
can’t maximize a window. Mac OS offers a lot of cool stuff, but this
one makes me think “stupid.”
