Where’s the peanut butter?!

Hooray! I found a solution for href="http://www.psoul.com/index.cgi/travel/morocco.html">my
travel-with-a-digital-camera predicament. The href="http://www.delkin.com/delkin_products_usb_bridge.html">Delkin
USB Bridge should connect my digital camera with my iRiver music
player (which, unlike Apple’s iPod, functions as a USB mass storage
device) and let me dump pictures from the camera directly to the
iRiver. I should have it in plenty of time for our Morocco trip to
test out. It only supports USB 1 transfer rates, which is a drag, but
the functionality is right and the price can’t be beat (and it takes
advantage of the 20GB I already have in my iRiver which I planned on
bringing so the fact that it’s not a hard drive enclosure is probably
a plus).

This morning I noticed my cat in the backyard poking his nose in a
corner and wagging his tail in a way that usually means trouble. A few
minutes later he came in meowing, demanding attention. I spent about
the next 10 minutes watching him kill and then eat a baby
bird. Couldn’t he have done this outside?
