Blog jobs

I had copied href="http://www.negatendo.net/blosxom.cgi">Negatendo’s deloxom
and flickrloxom perl scripts to read href="http://del.icio.us/slipperyp">my del.icio.us and href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/slipperyp/">my flickr feeds and
propagate them into my blog here.

    Tweaks:

  • stop using flickrloxom (the flickr badge works just fine)
  • make my cron job so the del.icio.us links are propagated at 1PM instead of close to midnight in the US in deference to the advice that a blog that’s updated daily at the times when people tend to read blogs will probably be more popular than one that is not. I should probably turn this into a navbar plugin so my calendar isn’t needlessly busified.

New CDs

I’m disappointed with cheap-cds for the first time, though. In spite of saying both when I placed my order and now that they have one copy of The Jam - Direction Reaction Creation, I got email saying they were all out and couldn’t fill my order. Oh well.

This will not stand

eCompanyStore, who are responsible for abortion of a website Microsoft
employees must endure when we want to buy things online at employee
prices, are actually touting said online shopping mall as href="http://www.ecompanystore.com/eCS_Proven_Results.asp?PG=PR&BDY=MSC">a
case study for prospective customers. In an upcoming post, I will
begin to enumerate the endless list of problems with our site that
make me eagerly tell anyone who’ll listen how bad I think this site
is.
